Over ten years ago, I began my career in the New York film and television industry after receiving a Bachelor's in Cinema & Photography from Ithaca College (2016). An early lesson from film was the importance of every frame. How will this image serve to push the story along? But maybe more importantly — how might the viewer feel at this moment? Film taught me the value of audience experience as an image creator.

Pursuing my master's in HCI/UX is where this clicked for me — I could keep telling stories, but now translate them out of the frame and into something real: a built product, a smoother user flow, or a fully redesigned feature.

As a designer, I continue to obsess over the details of the audience experience. Instead of a camera, I now carry a variety of UX methods to solve the problems on the way to the big picture. I thrive on collaboration, constant feedback, new tools, and new ideas.

Outside of design, I enjoy photographing friends in the mountains, as I am an avid skier, rock climber, and runner. In the summer, you can catch me in my sea kayak or sunfish in Barnegat Bay or on the shore simply plucking along on the mandolin in a hammock. At the end of the day, my favorite experience is sitting amongst friends listening to their stories around a campfire or around the dinner table.
